The Work of James K. Craig

The Lost

The Lost is a game club focused on the miniatures hobby based out of Trenton, ON. Dedicated to great sportsmanship and a fun gaming experience, The Lost organize gaming events that cater to everyone from the uninitiated beginners to the expert hobbyists of all ages! The club promotes all aspects of the hobby from rules and fair play to painting, terrain, sculpting and conversion… and above all else, we are a community of friends!

We are working hard to become one of Canada’s premiere gaming communities. In the spirit of growth it is my distinct pleasure to announce the promotion of Nic Drake to the position of Chancellor and Erik Hildebrandt to the title of Technologis First Class. May their guidance be sure and their reign glorious!

Make no mistake I will still be here to provide direct support for them. I am the Lord High Marshall after all…..

History

This group originally started in the United States as Adeptus Basementus, and is currently headed up by Ryan Powell (aka Kenshin). It does/has included such notable mebers as multi Golden Demon winners Terry Peterson, Joe Orteza and Mike Butcher.I (James K. Craig) was the moderator and head of the Canadian Chapter of the Adeptus Basementus Gaming club, and now continue to serve in that role after the club was renamed The Lost.

I believe strongly in this community for its sharing of resources and support. As such I hope to really help by making The Lost thrive as one of the premiere Canadian Gaming Organizations. At this point we have been active for over 5 years and have participated in running events for 2 games days and 2 national conflict events as well as numerous smaller tournaments and events of local interest.

2006 was a big year for the club in terms of our support from GW, and ‘07 shouldn’t be any different. We’ve set our sights on becoming one of the vanguard forces of the new “Regiments of Reknown” GW club organization system this year, and so far we’re on track. This could mean amazing things indeed…..

Keep an eye to this space to see what we will be up to next!
